Today brought many emotions. I now have my meds controlled. While that may seem a blessing, I'm a bit distraught over it. They cause me to sleep a good bit.
I had many many visitors today and felt horrible when I couldn't stay awake during these visits. That being said, I am ever so thankful that my Doc here and his fellow colleagues seem to have found the correct mixture to relieve the pain and nausea.
I'm so very thankful that my Aunt Vermelle and Uncle Ralph had the time to stop by here on their way through. My aunt made us all some very tasty Christmas treats to snack on and we thank her from the bottom of our hearts. Also that my minister Ernie Thigpen and one of our elder's at Central Church of Christ, Henry Caldwell dropped by for a visit. One of our cherished family friends and sister in Christ Lora Slocum visited and brought a beautiful Christmas cactus. The regional Hospice director Linda Harris also stopped in for a visit. She is also a family friend. Last but not least, our final visitors were Amber Adams, Katie Kimberly Brookes, and Matt Howland.
Fellowship was flowing in abundance today! It was bittersweet, yet I am not .
